Not the best experience! We stayed last year for Father’s Day weekend and the place has gone downhill since. Room was dirty, crumbs everywhere and hair in all the towels and sheets. So disgusting! They were even out of blankets and pillows for the pull out couch? The restaurant was short staffed and ran out of food pretty much every night we were there. Staff was super friendly though! The gym area was a joke, with like 3 things in there and called it a gym. Bugs on the bed, picture attached and like the other comments, the water smells awful. Called and confirmed Twice the night before check out to make sure they charged the correct card on file at check out the next morning and was told that was no problem, they proceeded to charge the wrong card that I was told had been taken off. SMH We invited our whole family this go around bc we enjoyed it so Much last time, unfortunately this wasn’t a great experience and we were embarrassed we invited people to pay that amount of money for the experience. Would NOT recommend!

Ocean View and the Beach give this an easy five stars. Pros - Views and customer service. Every single person we interacted with was helpful and nice. Pool (we didn't use) seemed clean and everyone who used it enjoyed it. Cold air conditioning in the rooms. Super quiet beach. Cons - rooms definetly could use so updating and more comfortable furniture. Obvious the property needs some updating like the out door bar and pathway to the beach.

The reviews don’t lie. What a disappointment. We’ve been coming to Wrightsville Beach 7 years now however in the past we’ve had to have more space. This visit it was only the two of us so we thought SI would be a better fit for us. The staff and beach access was the best part of the stay. Our room had not 3 but 4 issues. I don’t know if the renters prior to us didn’t report them or if this unit had just been overlooked. The staff were all very understanding and responsive but honestly I feel as if I should not have had to spend my vacation time being their overseer. My expectations for $400+ per night for a 1 bedroom and pitiful excuse of a beach view balcony were definitely not met. With all this being said, we will pay extra $$$ in the future to receive the experience to meet our expectations. PS: We were not the only dissatisfied visitors. We experienced another individual canceling their stay at the property to stay elsewhere due this establishment not meeting their expectations.

The location is the best! At the end of the island, quiet location with a beach that is not crowded. The beach umbrella rentals are right at the hotel boardwalk. Obviously, the hotel is older. the lobby is nice with updated furnishings, but the rooms are visibly showing their age, and tired with renovation in process. The view from the ocean side rooms is perfect! The rooms doors open to an open air hallway non air conditioned. Bedding and towels feel more like a motel, thin and rough. One of our rooms smelled moldy, and fishy.
